Thank you for participating in the Hilltop Farms Homeowner’s Association’s Special Meeting held on 09/21/2010 at 6:30 PM. The association conducted Special Meeting as per Special Meeting Article to Change the number of Board of Trustees form Hilltop Farms HOA from Three (3) to Five (5). We had a quorum in vote and per HOA by-laws, the voting and the meeting was closed, however the voting failed to meet fifty-one percent (51%) votes required to pass the amendment per HOA by-laws. As a result, the number of Trustees will remain same three (3).

On September 30, two new safe driving laws will take affect in Massachusetts.
1 – Texting While Driving will be illegal for all drivers.
The penalties are:
– 1st offense-$100 assessment
– 2nd offense-$250 assessment
– 3rd or subsequent offense-$500 assessment
Drivers cannot use any mobile electronic device to write, send, or read an electronic message including text messages, emails, instant messages, or accessing the internet.
2 – Junior operators, those under the age of 18, will not be able to use their phones at all, not for texting or talking.
The penalties for junior operators are:
– 1st offense-180-day license suspension
– 2nd or subsequent offense within 3 years-1 year license suspension
– $500 reinstatement fee
